The End of 2019

Posted by GJYYNGII - December 31st, 2019

Well, guys, today is the last day of 2019. I really hope that everyone enjoyed themselves and see her as we move on to a new decade. Well, this year was a meh year for me. I mean, I had some good times, and bad times. I got the things I wanted for Christmas, like the drawing tablet I wanted, a few games, clothes, and some gift cards. I even you got some A's, 2 B's, and a C throughout the three semesters of college this year, just to bring my GPA back up to a 2. That way, I don't have to pay for my classes again. I also got to see the Kpop group, A.C.E, for the very first time a few weeks ago. I had a wonderful time there. I wish we got a chance to go to the Florida Supercon this year, but I didn't. Oh well, there's always next year. Hopefully, I'll be able to get a chance to go there again in 2020. Now, for the worst moments I had to go through. First thing, people dying. Somewhere in the middle of the year, I found out that my grandma's friend died. My mom and I attended her funeral, and then after her funeral, we were about to go talk to her widowed husband, but it didn't look like it was a good time to talk to him, because he was still devastated. We didn't get to see her burial because of traffic. Also, I also found out that two of my favorite female K-pop idols died. Sulli in October, and Hara in November. Their lives were taken away too soon. They were so young. I'm still sad after hearing the news about their deaths. Even the fact that there were so many Kpop idols leaving their groups left and right. It seemed like there was no end to it. It is what it is, but I really wish that none of these things happen. Especially when there are music Industries in South Korea that mistreat their idols and abuse them physically. But the worst moments I had to go through 2019, was this. My YouTube channel was almost banned. All because of this one guy who wouldn't leave me alone, and is always making lies about me and a few others from the past up to now. You all know who I'm talking about (for those who are subscribed to me on YouTube). The guy who sell those models ripped from games illegally, and also ported to a Vocaloid to UTAU, which is also illegal, if I may add. Three of my videos were taken down when I received 2 copyright strikes. One strike for a video of a teaser of my rant video about him, in the other copyright strike when two of my videos I made about him back in 2015 got taken down as well. He made his new YouTube channel back in 2017, so how is that even possible? And because of that, I had to private three of my videos I made about him from the past 3 months, because I feared that I would get another copyright strike from him. Why is it that I have to get the punishment, and not him? He is abusing the copyright system, and if he keeps on doing it, YouTube will ban him from the site for good. It doesn't make any things better, since YouTube's Creator on Creator harassment is part of their algorithm, meaning that we are not allowed to criticize anyone. Already hate that rule. So, we are not allowed to voice our opinions and thoughts about someone in the controversial things they did? They're just trying to silence criticism, and I find it truly disheartening and unacceptable. Just like how he's trying to silence me. Well, one thing's for sure, at least he got himself a community guidelines strike on YouTube. That's what he deserves after telling someone to end themselves after one of his videos got taken down. Despite the fact that YouTube is still a train wreck, you should at least try to do the right thing for once. So then, I had to archive all of my videos just in case if I get a third strike on YouTube. And let's not forget another controversial figure on YouTube, who is a disgusting human being. I still cannot forgive him for click-baiting Etika's death. Just like he did with X and Mac Miller last year. This is why I hate these 3AM challenges. It was come up with something that is just disrespectful, and offensive to people, like something racist, homophobic, stupid, or trying to summon the dead the day after they died. He deserves to be taken off of YouTube for good. Nobody wants him around anymore. In the end, these kinds of people are just absolute hypocrites.

So, now that this is the end of my rant, I am really hoping that 2020 would be better. I still love to show you my animations, voicebanks, music, artworks, and models with you all. Maybe, I should try to use my drawing tablet to do some sculpting once in awhile in sculptris. I'm still trying to get used to how it works. Luckily, it's also compatible for Android devices as well, since I am an Android user. And one day, I'll try to make a fan game that's Undertale related. One day. I know it's going to be hard and all, but it's going to take time for it to be done. I may do some voice acting and comic dubs some more throughout the next decade. Plus, 2020 will mark my 9th year on both deviantART, and YouTube. Boy, does time go by. Anyways, I hope that everyone enjoys the rest of the end of 2019. See you guys next year.
